The "Heineken" Sofa and Kitchen were created for Heineken Spain in order to promote their visibility as the Main sponsor during the Trashkitchens event. The agreement with the client was that only Heineken branded discarded objects would be used.

 

In the sofa design, an old Heineken fridge shell accommodates the seating, while the cushions are created out of used Heineken advertisement PVC banner. The kitchenette, is also created out of an old Heineken fridge. The sink is in fact a cut-in-half 30l Heineken barrel, while the tap is a customized Heineken beer till. The working stainless steel surface is a lid from a broken beer cooler.​
