Wiery SMALL

Wiery SMALL was designed speicifcaly for the needs of one of our clients. To fit the space and usage requierements, we redesigned Wiery into a smaller version without compromising its design and comfort. Consequently, Wiery SMALL is a reclining seat made out of discarded refrigerator tube condenser (the back of the refrigerator) and a wooden pallet. The tube condenser forms the seat and the backrest, reinforced by a structure made from metal plates. The wooden slates from the pallet are glued together with a nontoxic wood glue to provide a wider surface. The design is conceived so that the wood can be cut into the two sides with minimal scrap. The sides and the seating surface are connected with big bolts.
